KTTC-TV's news director, Mark Carros, recently left the Rochester station.
While station officials confirm his departure, they say they cannot comment on employee matters. There is no word about a replacement.
Carros was named as news director for KTTC and KXLT FOX 47 in April. He replaced Dennis Grant, who had worked in Rochester television news from 1999 to 2007.
Carros held similar positions in Iowa, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and New York during a career that has spanned more than 30 years. Carros came to Rochester from Terre Haute, Ind., where he was news director at the dominant news station, WTHI.
