The New York Jets have landed Arizona linebacker Calvin Pace in what has been a very busy Monday for NFL free agency. The agreement between both parties is a six year deal worth 42 million. The New York Jets have been very busy since Friday also signing stud offensive lineman Alan Faneca and trading for Carolina Panther’s defensive tackle, Kris Jenkins.

After missing much of 2005, Calvin Pace has played in all 32 games for Arizona in the past two seasons. When playing in Arizona you are guaranteed to never play in more than 16 games per season. Last year, Pace piled together 6.5 sacks and one interception. Arizona made no attempt in resigning Pace, because he became too good of a player. Arizona has a tendency to let good players walk, so they can continue being a joke of a franchise.
Update: As I posted this Jet’s signing, they also signed offensive lineman, Damien Woody. They are spending more money than Andy Dick at a gay porn shop.
